Terms of sale

1. Who we are

Pictozia is a trade name of Collective 1x3 LLC DBA Pictozia, a limited liability company registered with the New Mexico Secretary of State, file number 3001620, located at 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Ste A #5229, Albuquerque, NM 87113, USA ("Pictozia", "we"). You can reach us at contact@pictozia.com. These terms cover the sale of magazine credits, custom printed magazines, extra copies, extra pages and custom tees on pictozia.com to individual consumers ("you"). You confirm you are at least 18 years old.

2. What we sell

The magazine. A printed magazine, 8.3 × 11.7 in (A4), 20 to 48 pages including covers, made from your own photos and text. You choose the binding, at the same price for the same page count: stapled (saddle-stitched), 20 to 48 pages in steps of 4, or perfect-bound, 24 to 48 pages in steps of 2. US stapled magazines are printed on 130 gsm interior paper with a 250 gsm cover, perfect-bound ones on 170 gsm with a 200 gsm cover. Magazines are printed by Cloudprinter and its network of partner printers.

Extra copies are identical to your magazine and ship in the same box. Their price is shown before you pay.

The tee, optional. A Bella+Canvas 3010 cotton tee, printed to order in the US with a photo from your magazine and your names in one of our designs. It's made by a partner garment workshop in the Printify network and ships separately from your magazine.

On-screen previews are a close guide, but printed colors can differ slightly and trimming or folding can vary by a few millimeters. That's normal for printing and isn't a defect.

3. How ordering works: credit first, then you make it

You first buy a magazine credit: you choose the page count, the binding, the shipping country, the number of copies and, if you like, one or more tees. Your order is confirmed once our payment provider's signed notification confirms payment. We email you a receipt with a single order number (PZ-XXXXXX) covering your magazine and tees.

Then you make your magazine in our online editor, at your own pace. You can add pages and only pay the difference, and add copies or tees. When you're happy with it, you approve a full preview, enter your shipping address in the country chosen at checkout, and send it to print.

Credit validity. Your credit is valid for 60 days from payment. You can extend it, no questions asked, by 30, 60 or 90 days at a time, in one click from your account or our reminder emails, or by emailing contact@pictozia.com. An expired credit is never lost: you can reopen it by extending it, or ask us and we'll reopen it for you.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and include shipping. The amount shown before you pay is the amount charged, and later price changes don't affect a paid order. Add-ons bought after checkout (pages, copies, tees) are charged at your credit's prices. We don't currently collect US sales tax. Payments for US orders are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

5. Your content

You confirm you have the rights to the photos and text you upload, including those added by friends through a collection link, and permission from people who appear in them. Your photos remain yours: you allow us and our print partners to store, process and reproduce them solely to make your order. We may refuse to print illegal content and refund the order.

6. Review before printing

A person reviews every magazine and every tee proof before it's made: photo resolution, text running off the page, blank pages, the spelling of your names on the cover. If something blocks printing, we email you and unlock your magazine; the production time restarts when you send it again. We don't review your creative choices.

7. Shipping

We only ship to the US, France and Belgium, with tracking. A phone number is required with your address: the printer and the carrier need it. Magazines and tees are made in different workshops and ship as two packages, each with its own tracking, under the same order number.

Delivery times are estimates in business days, counted from when you send your magazine to print, review included: magazine 6 to 12 business days to the US, 5 to 10 business days to France and Belgium; tee 5 to 9 business days to the US. Details are on our Shipping page.

8. Refunds and cancellations

Unused credit. As long as you haven't sent your magazine to print, you can ask for a full refund of your credit within 14 days of purchase, no reason needed. We refund within 14 days of your request, to your original payment method. Tees bought with the credit are refunded with it as long as they haven't gone into production.

After you send it to print. Your magazine and tee are made just for you, so they can't be canceled or returned, except as described in section 9.

9. Our reprint promise

If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, incomplete, in the wrong tee size, or is lost in transit (tracking hasn't moved for 10 business days), reply to your delivery email, use our contact page or email contact@pictozia.com within 14 days of delivery, with your order number and a photo where relevant. We'll remake and reship it for free, or refund you if you prefer. We can't exchange a tee for a size you picked by mistake.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages. We aren't responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as carrier disruptions.

12. Disputes and governing law

Please contact us first at contact@pictozia.com: most issues are solved quickly that way. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, unless the law of your state requires otherwise. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
